This app has two very different groups of users. On one side are medical staff with very little time. On the other are patients with basic technical skills, many of them using older, low-powered phones.
So the work was mostly about understanding people. Staff needed to schedule appointments and medicines in a few taps. Patients needed screens that are simple to read and hard to get wrong.
Behind the scenes, the app connects to services with information about medicines, and to the systems that doctors and hospitals were already using, so nobody had to enter the same information twice.
