About 1st Thing Apps

Since 2021 we have built apps, automations and websites for clients in Europe, the UK and the United States, in healthcare, charity, fitness, property services, culture and travel, university research and events. Most of them are small businesses.

Most of the owners we work with are experts in their field, not in software. They do not want a technical project. They want the Monday morning admin to stop. So we start with how the business runs today, and we build the smallest thing that makes a real difference.

Why “1st Thing”

Every business has one task that takes more time than it should. That is the first thing we look at, and usually the first thing we fix. Once it works, we decide together what comes next, if anything.

Marketing and sales, too

Our background is also in marketing and sales. So when we build something, we think about the questions every owner asks: how do customers find us, and how do we look after them? Your customers matter as much as your team.

• We tell you when you do not need custom software, and suggest what to use instead.
• We set everything up in your name, so you always own your accounts and your data.
• We choose European data storage whenever the tools offer it.
